Racing's in my blood, both the driving and the technical side. I did a bit of go-karting when I was younger, and that's probably what started things off. In my 20's I worked as part of some major pit crews - including Mobil BMW and Hyundai GTP & Super Touring.

The first tin-top I owned was a white Ford Escort sports sedan, in which I competed in Super Sprints.

In 2005 I bought a 1989 Ford Falcon Saloon Car and established Hughes Racing Enterprises.
