Adam Hughes has been voted by his peers to be the new Vice President of  Combined Touring Cars NSW. Adam will again be the Co-Ordinator for the NSW Tascco Challenge

With 2007 all  but done  HRE and its partners have already started to talk 2008

with talks well under way things are looking much stronger for 2008

Round 2 has been cancelled due to flooding at Oran Park.

Another race will be added to the Tascco Challenge Calander, and while the exact date and location has not been confirmed at this stage, the Oran Park event in July looks to be a strong possibility.

HRE CONTINUES TO POLISH UP IT'S IMAGE

HRE has a new logo for 07 and beyond. This was designed in-house by it's new sponsor The Rambler.

Are numbers the key? 

This year will see the end of HRE 66. 

Change is in the air for HRE, and it was decided this was the ideal time to get out with the old and in with the new. "We've had a major reshuffle within the team - with new crew and a new major sponsor I thought it was the right time for a new race number." commented Adam.

HRE will sport a fresh new look and number in 07. "I picked 220 because it's got a lot of meaning...it's a combo of mine and my girlfriend's birthday's, and 22 is my favourite number." Adam explains.

When asked about the "ADS" appearing on his helmet, and also on the car before the number box, Adam laughs. "No, it's not a self plug...well, not really. It's the initials of one of my long term sponsors - Automotive Diagnostic Solutions....just happens to be a lucky coincidence that my email and rego is ADS220...weird, eh?"

HRE WELCOMES UP AND COMING ARTIST TO THE FAST LANE

HRE is glad to have The Rambler onboard for 2007 as one of it's new sponsors. The Rambler came onboard for a couple of rounds last year and has strengthened it's partnership to a larger comittment in 07.

Today a huge indication to the new look HRE 07 outfit took a major step with Poleline Photography taking center stage as

major sponsor . "We are very happy with Adam's progress and the teams outlook and we are happy to be onboard this level"

"I have made a new friend in Wayne we both get long so well , so I'm just over the moon when we stuck up this deal " Adam said about the new partnership

Liverpool Auto Dismantlers will supply HRE with stock parts for the up coming 2008 season

HRE has signed another key to title success . "I'm very happy to have LIVERPOOL EXHUAST  onboard we trailed a new half system and the final at the creek an dthe national at Oran Park  and the whole process was very good . So I'm very hapy to have Liverpool Exhaust onboard " Adam went on to say "Exhaust is such a vital  componet to these cars an dto have such a strong techincal partner like Liverpool Exhaust will only help us move up "

HRE contiues with EmbroidMe Liverpool

EmbroidMe Liverpool have agreed to continue their partnership with HRE but at a lesser involement

"its going to be quite unusal not to have a large EmbroidMe down the side of the car but I'm glad to still be involed in the

brand awareness for the Liverpool shop " said Adam

Former owner Marie said "Adam has been a great for the shop and the team has done so much in a short time .Its just I shame we could'nt continue at this level "

the Shop has changed hands and the commitment has contiuned but at a small level at this time "the new owners have come on board and I'm very happy about this

It wouldn't feel right not to have Embroidme Liverpool on my car and the new owners are very happy with the car I'm so gald to have them onboard for 07" commented Adam

Both Brendan and Adam have been busy testing for the up and coming 06Season 

recently both carried out a test at Oran park which went very well for both until Brendan suffered rear brake

problems .Both driver where lapping in very quick times

Test 2 happened at Eastern Creek where Brendan was on fire  Adam how ever suffered engine problems

and packed up for the day to go back to base to place the motor with a new one for round1 .......well

thats why they call it testing

Southern Cross Motorsports (SCM) today  had its launch at Oran Park

both drivers Adam Hughes and Brendan Murphy where present and completed laps for the guess press

combined both driver did nearly 40 laps.
